Full disclosure, I have noticed some water droplets dripping from the area where the top meets the body when washing. It's just small drips from the splashing. I think the sealant probably has gaps in it.

It's only drops, and I sort of expect this kind of things from Costway (Chinese) equipment. Seems like a QC thing. Can't beat the price and it's really a minor thing. 

I could return it, but I'm just going to apply a fine line of sealant around the area and that will do the trick. The washer and spinner work like gangbusters. Very happy with the purchase. It's awesome!

 

 You may be able to find a gasket that'd fit the gap. $170s not a bad price! I'm thinking of snowbirding to Alabama. I'm over Ohio winters
