I have mixed feelings about the place after living there for a few years working in construction. I respect and understand what you’re saying but it comes with its own set of pros and cons that can also change at the blink of an eye…it’s a matter of choosing your hard isn’t it
I only put it as a counterexample to western democracies where you pay many taxes and few services, taking into account that both in Dubai and Abi Dhabi the natives receive subsidies from oil dividends, something unthinkable in a western democracy.

With respect to me it is a climate that I do not tolerate, it is the worst thing I see that limits you in many aspects of life.
Oh for sure…you are spot on with your example. We are in Australia, one of the largest natural gas providers and our economy is completely ruined…we should be thriving. It makes us so angry that we talk about moving back to the UAE…I can’t do that climate with my kids
I just read you can now buy property with btc & crypto in the UAE 😒
Being able to buy beans in Brazil without hacky gift cards would be the real game changer.
 You can, here in Jericoacoara
 Quero ir!
