@a6ff0b2b not a Mac expert but years (decades?) ago I used to see these symptoms on windows machines with low VRAM. Is it possible a change was made in Mac OS where the second (background) user’s video ram stopped getting released? I can imagine a large percentage of users could see performance GAINS and faster user switching if the second user’s VRAM was still held in memory. Can’t reiterate enough how much I’m NOT an expert 😅
@1b9bbe09 Apple Silicon Macs don’t really have “VRAM”…and my Intel Mac Pro has 32 GB of it.
