You right, it was a great set up to a joke, but this is very serious so I’ll just say you right 🫡 

 It’s an honest measure - plain and simple. 

 It’s just too technical for most people to audit for themselves; so it will take more social proof before it crosses the chasm. 

 Complexity can be abstracted away. We’ll get there. 

Take the dollar, for example. Far more complex and technical than bitcoin, yet people interact with it almost without thinking about it.
