Is any nostr client working on seamless media uploads? Just click on the photo/media icon and upload like you would x/instagram etc. I mean not require long a nostr.build of satellite.earth or self-hosting etc. Or is that just not on the roadmap? #asknostr
Amethyst does it pretty seamlessly
Damus does this seamlessly
you can connect your Damus client to your nostr.build premium account to upload bigger files than the average user, I only recommend it to power users, most will be fine with the free tier if they don’t upload large stuff.
Yes but that’s still an extra step is what I’m saying. To copy link from their outside of the client. I have paid accounts there as well
… sir what I’m saying is that you can connect the client to the storage provider (nostr.build) and never have to upload outside the client n copy link n bring back to the client you upload on the client (Damus) -> it stores it on your premium storage account with nostr.build but you never left the client.

Swipe right for screen recording lol
Ok WOW. Well now I know 😂
I genuinely forgot the steps I took to verify it, it’s been waaaay too long since cc: @nostr.build & @The Fishcake🐶🐾 for halp setting it up https://i.nostr.build/t0dZy6BdZqzqb1xE.png
I have a paid nostr.build and it seems to be there when I directly uploaded from damus
AWESOME THEY MUST’VE AUTOMATED IT
Fishcake did a long time ago. He just coded it himself and added it to damus 😎
Fucking legend! You must love when stuff like that happens!!
Verification happens when you create a new account now, or when you log in with NIP07 or Nostr DM for the first time 🐶🐾🫡 It is not necessary to verify to get your uploads into your account from supporting clients
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 lfgoooooooo
Quite simple on Nostur … https://image.nostr.build/ef366a9823eccfb3e1d5c0dde1b6cabe9d3b8a291572ae838797c392cdab78f3.jpg
Media files needs to be hosted somewhere that's the fact. The beauty of Nostr clients we have at the moment is that you can choose where these files will be hosted. Beat that Twitter and Instagram or any other centralized social service ot there.
you mean a client that hosts the images too? isnt that what primal does
