Last year I was in Brazil, Dores De Campos. Minas Gerais. My girlfriend is Brazilian and this was a much needed visit to see her family. At dinner her cousin described Brazil in the following way: " Brazil is a Ferrari, but the driver is a monkey." 

... are there any Brazilians here who have heard this metaphor?
