3/3 The following ELECTION INTEGRITY VISION might sound naïve, but eventually it could help conteptualize some future developments: - I vote with a ballot paper that contains a QR code ("pubic-key"). - When I scan this QR code afterwards with the election app on my mobile device, I can see whether I have voted in the last election. - When I additionally enter my password (="private key"), I can see how I voted in order if my vote was counted correctly - Further, I could also check with a broader group (family, community) whether the entries in the "blockchain" correspond to what we all actually voted for. The revolutionary thing about this approach would be, that it would start a new paradigma in elections: DON'T TRUST, VERIFY At this point, I am allowing myself to tag @saifedean @LynAlden @Natalie and @jack. Eventually some of you would be interested in taking this up? Best of BTC
