I don't like it, take it as necessary evil. On Twitter I used to clean my timeline backwards a LOT. Like keeping it altogether under 1000 tweets after years of use. 

 Same. I publish dozens of contents a day on social media with different profiles (it’s my job). This is a limitation for me even though I recognise the positive impact in posting more carefully.

 Let them think a little too. I think it would be very beneficial if there are consequences to what you say on here, like there are in real life. I can’t shout at my neighbor and undo it. I can’t send out a marketing letter and undo it.

Apart from my faible for Wu-Tang, I would say that it encourages the writing of well worded letters, preferably without the help of AI.

Like when soldiers that were away for months try to convey their deepest thoughts to their loved ones in a concise way since this might be the last chance to do it.

Knowing your notes are "forever" forces you to think abt what you're putting out there. Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequence.
When people are more cognizant of what they broadcast out into the world, they tend to think twice and consider the consequences.
This in turn creates a more civil online society. Just like irl, once you say something out loud you can't undo it. This builds verifiable reputation and your actions follow your identity forever. Creates accountability and helps reduce toxicity. Brings back natural human interaction to the online world.

 Might help normalize stating you were wrong or your opinion has changed. Those are healthy revelations to have.
