Free market capitalism is serious business. Don't hate the players, hate the game.
That’s correct. However, nobody is arguing that you shouldn’t have been allowed to do it, people think it was a poor business decision where values were compromised for short term gains. The market will definitely sort this out. However, considering there won’t be ETH customers in a decade, I wouldn’t want to be on that side of the trade.
Fraud is not acceptable in free market capitalism because it is a form of theft. ETH advertising as decentralized is fraud. By extension, you’re complicit in fraud.
Ser you are not supposed to question or push back on the gymnastics bc he has been helpful for bitcoiners, like He Whose Star Is Rising™️ but for some reason more accepting
I think the free market argument is fine, I’m just of the opinion that there will be no ETH customers in 10 years, and he will have shot his business in the foot by going against his base customers.
It’s “fine” sure, but not compelling or genuine. It all boils down to short term profits we can agree on that - whether its driver is that eth was a scam to get people’s bitcoin from its very inception or that it will be ded soon enough, doesn’t really matter
It isn’t fine at all. “Free market” doesn’t mean that fraud is legal or acceptable. Even the most anarchic agree on this because fraud is theft.
