I feel like holding BTC will partially protect from neofeudalism.
Do I have that right?
In that you’ll be wealthier than most and are more likely to be on the right side of the winners/losers line, I’d say so. Also if you are talking about it from a Techno-Capitalist angle decentralization makes that power structure harder to maintain.
 The Road to Serfdom
by Friedrich von Hayek

Your post made me think of this classical book. A must read on everyone's #Bitcoin journey.
 This 👆
I just hope it won't make us targets of persons that believe we caused this.
 Not necessarily.

You need competent, well armed, well trained communities to keep the bigger remains of fiat gubment at bay.
I agree, when they try to introduce cbdc and "create" disaster scenarios, we will have no choice but to turn to the government asking for help. At which point they have us by the balls. We have to use their controlled cbdc money and we have to follow their rules which can change according to their will. Holding bitcoin gives me independence. When they switch off your cbdc money for buying too much meat, or driving too much in your town, or following lifestyle they don't approve of, then holding bitcoin gives me freedom to say no. Transact in bitcoin with like-minded people.
Stay free. Stay independent.
Totally. In an inflationary environment, saving is punished and debt is rewarded. But under a bitcoin standard, it’s the converse.
I would suggest that that seems to be the way society is headed and those that have control of hard assets can more easily escape serfdom. BTC is on paper and with it’s short history seems to be the fastest horse.
I agree, having btc protects your future self. The next step is to use it with your circle and community. Basically have people to trade it with. That’s where @Fedi federated mints and eCash will help.
I ought to but this thought down on paper one day, but i think the future will be one of semi autonomous cities, divided up into 15 minute ghettos, run on CBDC's with food coming from hydroponics and insect protein.
Around them will be raw nature with offgrid townships, citizen milita, regenerative farming, and a more co-operative outlook. Bitcoin fits that world a lot better.
It's a choice, fiat > CBDC = slavery
Or fiat >Bitcoin = freedom.
Thats sounds like a horrible future, 15min cities, ghettos. I'm hoping cbdcs keep failing like they failed in Nigeria, and eventually all roads lead to bitcoin.
Bitcoin protects users from: confiscation of money (by any and all authorities), debasement of currency, transactional censorship.
It will protect you from neofeudalism, yes.
 The second ammendment does that.
The first ammendment protects the second.
Nostr protects the first ammendment.
