There's a cure for epilepsy, it's a ketogenic diet!! Why aren't her doctors guiding her through?? This is well- known in medical literature! It's a crime that they're all failing her!!
Ketogenic is a great lifestyle, but I have personally found a more carnivorous diet works better for me.

There is no one solution to epilepsy.
One size never fits all. Bless you for finding your own answers.
That's great you're able to heal your seizures with a carnivore diet and I would argue that a carnivore diet is more effective than a ketogenic one. My issue was more with why this young lady was still suffering 24 seizures a day when a low carb high fat diet (or a carnivore diet) would clearly change her life. It's clinically shown to be much more effective than epilepsy drugs currently on the market, plus there are no side affects, only upside as every other symptom would heal within her as well. There are still many hospitals that prescribe ketogenic diets for epilepsy & seizure patients..❤️
I agree with most of what you’re saying. Be mindful this video is also 6 years old.
The medical community has been using ketogenic diets for epileptic seizures since the 1920s...
The modality has a long, successful history but most hospitals are starving for money so they abandon the proven, "free" strategies like dietary change for drugs that are patentable (and thus profitable) such as the popular anti-seizure drug Dilantin. All drugs have side-effects, some quite sinister causing death.
I think we agree on most of what you are saying. In my decade of experience the modern day doctor is most often a drug and test pusher. Pushing for different pills when the last one did not work after a few amount increases. The side-effects are terrible (speaking from experience).

I agree with you that diet and exercise are probably the best solutions (not cures) for dealing with #epilepsy. However, most doctors are not trained to take this approach these days because of the money issue you pointed out.

It is very hard to find a doctor who is worth trusting. One that will take the time to get to know you as a person rather than a customer.

I saw a meme yesterday pointing out how corporations will likely prolong the problem they are supposed to provide a solution for. The medical industry has been plagued by this for far too long.

 ...perfectly stated ❤️
Great conversation. I hope I can have more discussions about epilepsy on #Nostr in the future to promote awareness.
