 This is so true. One of the clubhouse communities that I am in switched to using telegram (where anyone can talk, not just the people on stage as on Clubhouse) and when anyone could speak, it actually made people be MORE respectful of not talking over others.

 Yup Telegram voice chats ftw.

Much better than Twitter Spaces where people just use the stage to monologue. Encourages passive audiences too. I used to ask people on Twitter to request to speak so there can be more back and forth and even with many listeners it was common for the number of takers to be small. Feels lonely.

Nostr Nests, even though it has the same layout, is much more lively too just because of the community we have.
