Great seeing you on here more regularly. Next time you speak to Mike McGlone mention that his assessment of the Chinese bond market is entirely off the mark. Yields are collapsing for the single reason that bonds in China are the local TINA equivalent. I say this while typing from Shanghai.

I think # 2 is more likely since no one can be really that numb to the consequences of their plans. It is very terrifying in my opinion and to be honest I belive the "shaping" has been going on for a very long time already. US and the EU are on some very strange path which defies common sense thinking.
Earlier this year I read ‘Principal’s for dealing with a changing world order’ and I’m currently working through ‘Fourth turning’. Both are tough going and I’ve probably forgotten most of what I read already. One takeaway is that we’re very likely in for some painful times in the near future. Being a natural pessimist this is easy for me to accept. What is harder, but I am coming around to, is that the economic and societal cycles will continue and good things will follow. I thank my lucky stars that I found #Bitcoin when I did. The more I learn about #money, #economics, #history, the more convinced I become that Bitcoin will be central if not essential to prosperity in the future.
