Are people that are paid to push gambling bad people?🤔

I mean push it too, like the Barstool Sports shitheads that are all paid handsomely (can’t lose a bet essentially) but push it on their followers as hard as they can.

I don’t gamble. https://image.nostr.build/1ac6ba376d569aed68670da9acf22ac33fb6b59287a3ab1e07d6bf45fb981b8b.jpg
 Yes.
 I tend to agree.
The free will argument comes into play but that knife cuts both ways.
They have the freedom to do it, but that doesn't me it is right. They are actively pushing people down a path of losing money and probably don't give a shit.
Not just losing money. Divorce, suicide, addictions etc are all highly likely outcomes of gambling issues.

I mean free will of the people that listen to them as well. Blame goes both ways.
 absolutely 🤝
My Fathers company spawned at least three companies that manufacture computer boards for gambling machines.

One of them eventually took over our company 😔

They do make money!

 They are money printing machines.
And gambling can be fun. A lot of fun. In moderation.

It’s not an easy answer. But the outcomes of gambling addiction & chasing are horrific.
 Agreed.
Good and bad are mostly subjective terms
Yup. Almost everything is subjective tbh.
Yeah, I put them into the bad people category. I lost my respect for Gretzky because of it.

It's the same as prominent Bitcoiners taking money to push shitcoins on their followers.
I agree on Gretzky. Big time. He has the money & game etc and I never understood his push on that. Not at all. Unless he’s lost a lot himself & is chasing.
 *fame not game.
Same as people who promote shitcoins. Absolutely no morals
Exactly. I quit a software job one time because I couldn’t sell something I didn’t believe in. Once I saw behind the curtain I could not, in good faith, sell that shit to a customer.
Being able to sleep at night peacefully is underrated
So I went to a competitor & made a fuckton.
I’m older than you, this was in the early days of internet.
“Internet native” being pitched but it was just screen scraping & pdf front ends. Lipstick on a pig.
I went internet natively built from the ground up & it was the right move.
You followed your morals and made more money. Win-win!
