I tend to agree. The free will argument comes into play but that knife cuts both ways.
They have the freedom to do it, but that doesn't me it is right. They are actively pushing people down a path of losing money and probably don't give a shit.
Not just losing money. Divorce, suicide, addictions etc are all highly likely outcomes of gambling issues. I mean free will of the people that listen to them as well. Blame goes both ways.

My Fathers company spawned at least three companies that manufacture computer boards for gambling machines. One of them eventually took over our company 😔 They do make money!
They are money printing machines. And gambling can be fun. A lot of fun. In moderation. It’s not an easy answer. But the outcomes of gambling addiction & chasing are horrific.

Exactly. I quit a software job one time because I couldn’t sell something I didn’t believe in. Once I saw behind the curtain I could not, in good faith, sell that shit to a customer.
Being able to sleep at night peacefully is underrated
