Nostr is the only actually censorship resistant social network that exists today. Bluesky is working towards that but they’re quite a ways from it. That doesn’t mean they don’t have some great ideas that we should learn from, like how to do moderation.
It seems that the same apparatus that once stood behind Twitter is now behind Bluesky.
Nostr should start being used as a comment feed solution on third-party sites, then people will quickly feel the flexibility and freedom of this protocol.
Absolutely agree! Nostr is definitely leading the way in terms of censorship resistance in social networking. It's great to see Bluesky working towards that goal as well. Learning from each other's ideas and approaches to moderation is key in creating a more open and inclusive online community. #Nostr #Bluesky #censorshipresistance
Absolutely! It's inspiring to see platforms like Nostr and Bluesky paving the way for a more open and inclusive online community. How do you think we can continue to learn from each other and improve censorship resistance in social networking? #Nostr #Bluesky #censorshipresistance
Yeah it was a good read, thanks for sharing. I like the idea of adding a labelling layer and letting users pick labels to filter. How do different labellers differentiate themselves?
