Bitcoiners are incredibly diverse in interests, backgrounds, nationality, beliefs, education, age, and the list goes on. It blows my mind how many different people I’ve encountered through the shared interest of bitcoin. Because ultimately bitcoin is just money, and everyone uses money for something. We can all relate to it no matter who we are. I disagree strongly with some bitcoiners on other topics, and don’t care to see their discussions/posts about that stuff. And vice versa, I’m sure. Bitcoin is just one more element to our lives, and it happens to be a pretty cool one. But it doesn’t mean I don’t talk about anything else. It’s just funny to me when people make such a big deal out of bitcoiners talking about bitcoin. Like, have they never been around someone with a hobby? 😂😂
That's a big part of why I rarely bring it up actually. It's money, its a tool. It's new, hence the enthusiasm... and it's ecosystem is not fully developed so that requires discussion & coordination all the way down to normal, boring use. I acknowledge that I'm mostly unqualified & less educated than many and what I do know, I feel fairly certain most others know as well (I do surprise myself on occasion lol). I'll answer questions when I can but if I were to become a bitcoin-note-only type of poster, I would just add to the noise, drawing away from the signal that people need in order to learn.
You, on the other hand, are a great teacher, both through humor & conversation. I know if I have questions, I can ask... and being someone who hates asking for help, I appreciate your ability to pick up on expressed frustration 😂 you've saved me from punching a wall once or twice in the last year... just fyi & thanks 😁😅
@leaL3nora is going to come back to this btc conversation & 1000 HNY bots 😂🤣 Don't give up on #nostr ! 😂🫂
Haha 😂 thanks that actually means a lot. Always happy to help if I can 💜🤙
