 Rent has almost doubled since COVID in my part of Sydney. 

We're going to WA later this year but looks like the same is happening there too.

You'd think with the small population and huge land mass we could let supply run hot for a decade or so and get the prices in order.  
 Perth is having the same issues with shortages.

It’s truly insane that a country the size of Australia, this huge, with 3 people per square kilometre, has a fucking housing shortage. Reminds me of the Friedman quote.
