Well, what would you do? Send the full transaction, report your client and basically become an employee for the IRS? There again, these scuzzy fuckers get us to do all their dirty work, No thanks.
The IRS & CRA are slime balls. I realize 2 wrongs don’t make a right….but I think we gotta play their game too, to an extent.
I certainly don't think it would be two wrongs. By all means, stick it to them. I'm just pointing out that they aren't leaving any legal outs.
You’re not wrong, but sometimes I feel we do need to play dirty a bit, but only with them. They’ve been doin us dirty for far too long now and they know it, and they know we know it.

I mean if they’ve set the limit for $10k, really you could just invoice the client for $9,999.00. I’d sacrifice $1…

If the kitchen was $30k, I would do 3 separate bitcoin transactions to avoid the reporting.
I basically do that now with fiat. We collect a deposit (for materials) when the client accepts our quote, then another deposit upon beginning the job and then final payment once the job is complete.

I hate playing dirty games, but I certainly don’t mind playing with those scum bags. Do I like stooping to their level? No, but I feel they leave us no choice sometimes.

#bitcoin is going to win regardless, they know they can’t stop it so all they can do is try to make it harder for us.
It's not stooping to their level, because you're not the one intruding into the affairs of peaceful people.
