Started long ago with free agency. Money killed the game at that level.  Gambling is the nail in the coffin. 
It’s boring at that level. No rivalries. Nobody cares - the older generation “fake cares”. 

I’d rather watch a good college or HS game. Much more fun and better use of my time. All my opinion but I’m right.
