SanDisk has announced the development of its first 8TB SD cards and 4TB microSD cards, a significant increase from the current maximum storage capacity of around 1.5TB. The new cards are designed for use in smartphones, gaming devices, drones, cameras, and laptops, and feature theoretical transfer speeds of up to 104MB/s. The SDUC UHS-I standard allows for higher storage capacities and faster data transfer rates. Source: https://liliputing.com/sandisk-introduces-the-first-8tb-sd-and-4tb-microsd-cards/
