Balkan children unfortunately know war, very good. We didn’t get it as bad as other children in Balkan did- trust me on that- and yes, we did things to each others (nothing none of us should be proud of). But it was a long time ago. There are millions of children around the world, deeply suffering right now. 

 I will continue to volunteer locally, donate & fight for equity & human rights the rest of my life. Genuinely believe that’s the best way to make a difference.
