India's luxury real estate market is experiencing a growing demand for global architects as design becomes a crucial selling factor for developers and a consideration for buyers seeking international living standards. Singapore's Andy Fisher Workshop, Eco-Id Architects, HBA Designs, New York's KPF and LERA consultants, Hong Kong's Ptang Studio, UHA London, and global firm Benoy are among the architects engaged in multiple residential projects across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The luxury segment of housing, defined by apartments priced at '4 crore and above, saw a 75% YoY growth in sales in 2023. Developers collaborating with global architecture firms include Tata Realty, DLF, Tarc, Smartworld, MVN, and Elan. The trend also includes a focus on green spaces and landscaping in residential properties.
