The percentage of screwed up orders at restaurants has noticeably increased. Starbucks by my office doesn’t even brew more than a medium roast anymore.  Even those working are just mailing it in for the same reasons elucidated in your piece. Your anecdotes are not anecdotal. It’s pervasive throughout society.
