Today humanity is at a stage in its journey where it confuses convenience with focus. This sentence is an example of this, since in reality we have always had this problem and besides this is not only a problem. The drawback actually might just be in confusing «when» it's not convenient to do it. Perhaps things are also accelerated just «when and where» they are about to settle down, we return to the same thing over and over again more and more quickly, confusing it until it ends up being established.
