I’ve been a home inspector for 12 years and a realtor for 12 years before that. I’ve been in over 10,000 strangers homes and operated appliances in about 5000 of them.

Samsung is garbage. Lots of touchscreen or fancy gimmicky shit that breaks too easy.

Whirlpool and GE seem to be the most reliable. However, lots of people experience problems in the first five years and they generally don’t last past seven.

Next time I buy a washer/dryer I’m going to buy a commercial grade Speed Queen like they use in laundromats. That or some entry-level Amana that still has mechanical dials.
