nostr and lightning products that are about either generally fail (at least at getting any serious adoption). Lightning or nostr by itself are irrelevant - what they solve is. Nobody needs to know they are using lightning, what they need to know is that a product solves their problems. Us techies are focusing on technical aspects of everything way too much and dont understand that things we're building need to solve actual business or personal problems. Anything outside of protocol and infrastructure development is rarely about solving technical issues, its about addressing problems. And users experience is not magically better because you throw bitcoin/nostr in the mix, nor should or are willing to sacrifice tons of usability just because decentralized/sovereign/bitcoin/p2p etc.
