I was under the impression that some pools push a portion of the fees onto the miners in the payouts. Maybe I’m mistaken. Anyway, privacy is another benefit. 

 Check out paynyms for privacy. They shouldn't be charging the miners for the fees, you pay a flat percentage to them already.
