He's doing well, I just cleaned his enclosure and installed a new filter system Monday. Today I have live aquatic plants coming for his tank. I order them from West Virginia of all places.

Here's Mikey enjoying his new live greenery. He'll eat some while the rest hopefully multiplies. My last batch lasted 4 months.

I was debating letting him go but decided in the end he's doing good. I ordered some small silicone trays and I'm freezing my own shrimp, fish and mustard greens food pellets. I'll mix them all together in a food processor first.
