They way Bitcoin does fees is really bad. You can have a transaction sitting for months unless you pay more to get the miners attention. Between that and all the fees, Bitcoin seems usurus and super Jewish.  

 Eh its a free market fee market. Try using RBF or CPFP if your transaction doesn't go through with your initial fee
