We need NYT readers to warm up to the idea of secession. Having them focussed inwards is the only thing that might save the rest of the world from their stupidity.

Sadly very true. A Trump win with California seceding first would be best. Not sure how they’d go hot if it’s Texit though because they wouldn’t win that and it would still be better for the rest of the world, albeit messy stateside.
