 Not AI as it is currently understood and implemented but rather the potential, I should say. And...maybe they're on to something?.

 Especially considering the rapid evolution of GPT. 

I mean, I'm not afraid of Skynet, not really anyway, but the thought of self-replicating and self-improving AI does give me pause.

AI doesn't give me a pause, the humans who have too much power handling it give me a pause. 
 @2a70c54d On the other hand, AI trained on the current LLM output is likely to be the worlds fastest and most dangerous delusional idiot. 
 @Adam F. Lawton My theory behind Skynet is that someone trained AI to solve the climate crisis and it determined that eliminating humans was the easiest way to solve the problem.
