Doesn't KYC NOSTR get you spooked? 🤔
Explain it to me more please 🙏
So if you link your Strike (which is KYC) to your nsec, then you have KYC'd your nsec
Not for zaps, and small transactions. No one with the sense God gave a goat would hold many Sats 丰 in a hot wallet.
I mean, I have strike and I have Nostr but I wouldn't link them, I won't even link nostr and fountain because then my email (required for the fountain sign up) is linked to my nsec... maybe I'm just a paranoid crypto anarchist? 😂
I still haven’t found a good answer for this but my suspicion is that it’s a minimum requirement to open a @strike account to get around the Apple restrictions on “in-app” payments
Very plausible, great explanation.
You mean, as to why strike requires KYC? Jack Mallers has been quite clear that he's conforming to all regulations because he's a businessman first and wants the business to be successful and accessible to as many people as possible. I can't deny he's brought a great product to market as long as you are aware of the KYC nature of it and use it accordingly.
