Last batch of #honey for the year. Now I leave the girls alone and feed them through the winter. #beekeeping

 nice work, pure gold

did you see this?

First, you get a zap ⚡️ cus my son is at NCState (go pack!) and yes, after years of beekeeping my girls definitely recognize me and even the mood I’m in. They can be very loving in an oddly communal way. They often greet me by holding onto my fingers ever so gently.
 That’s amazing, very cool
Nice haul. What you feed em in winter?
Some sugar water via top feeders, until it gets cold. Then to keep them inside and warm I made sugar boards (see pics) they can eat on all winter long to keep up their energy. Much like Bitcoin, for bees - energy = heat and they detach their wings to vibrate their bodies and generate heat for the hive. They are incredible!

 I love goooooold
 Beautiful color! 😻
Do you sell any of your gold
Locally and really only to friends and family. I don’t market or make an effort to sell it. For me this is a hobby, not a side hustle. Were you looking to get some?
I was going to inquire, but I totally respect your approach and can't say I blame you.
I’d recommend finding a local beekeeper and supporting them. Local (to you) honey also helps with local allergies.
