Halo was the greatest game of all time in my humble opinion

The pilgrimage to get to Level 50 taught me many things in life

The level of communication, competition, strategy, teamwork, memorization, and muscle memory at that tier was intoxicating as a kid

This game taught me so much about how to get into the mind of your opponent

The constant assessment of scenarios like "sniper drops in less than 10 seconds, there's 2 people down on my team, our flag is out, and enemy team has top control" felt like a thrilling game of chess

I met one of my best friends playing this game, he lived across the country and over a decade later became a groomsmen at my wedding

 HALO 1 WAS A MASTERPIECE. PERFECT GAME MECHANICS, AMAZING STORY MODE, AND LOCAL MULTIPLAYER (LAN PARTIES > PLAYING ONLINE) 

 and Vehicles! 

I bought the remastered version. It was nice

 Can't remember. been a long time  and mostly played single player
