 GM Nostr. 🌞

If you take the time to really think from first principles, you can only come to one conclusion.

All forms of government (and rule over others) are deeply and irreversibly flawed and the only rational thing to do is strive to minimize them as much as possible.
 morning
It's nearly 3pm and you're just waking up. Sad.
Maybe on the party's clock. I operate on UTC. 🔥
 GM!
 Good morning! ☕️

You just made me think the following:

Who is a good leader in a company?
1️⃣ who is needed for every decision, who if he is missing everything is stopped, slowing every process down.
2️⃣ Who enables his team to be independent. Who looks like not doing anything, but at the end, he is the oil to make everything smooth.
Having led teams of 100+ people in the past, I can tell you with certainty it's the second. (which you're obviously in agreement with).

There is also an immense sense of joy that comes from giving people the tools and then watching them figure things out and succeed on their own.
 Indeed!

Except if you fear you can be replaced if you enable your team, you will try to be necessary by not doing this. False thinking, but also common in corporate culture.
 💯 So common, so false.
And the first step towards that is to take the control of monetary policy out of the Government's hands
 First, and most important.
We need an economy where everyone can participate without asking permission and that states can't tax or interfere.
Agree, with one caveat. We also need to drastically reduce information asymmetry.
That's a hard problem to solve, what ideas you have about it?
Well, see, there's this thing called the internet...

All jokes aside, I think we're already solving it. It's a big, hard problem that will take decades or centuries. Or maybe it's never "solved" and just requires constant vigilance.

In any case, fast access to high quality information (that is verifiable - thanks asym cryptography) is what keeps large entities from amassing too much power or control.
I always think it's getting better, with bitcoin, the Foss world and nostr. But sometimes I think it will be for the nerds only. Because it takes a lot of effort to understand why to use those tools. Or maybe with economic bonance it will give people much more time to think and study, there are many factors. Sometimes it's better to just do what we can and leave to God the rest.
Yeah, I agree. It's tough. Thinking for yourself and being free actually requires a lot of work. And actually, most people just don't want to do it. They'd rather give away their freedom to have a "nice enough" prison.

 Checks out
 I agree ☝🏼
And… what’s the alternative? Especially with a few Billion folks around. We haven’t really tried the whole Govt-without-the-printing press just yet, so that’s where I’m focusing my blood, sweat and tears of hope #bitcoin
