Is it a sign of old age when you can’t sleep anymore?
No, usually a sign of stress.
Is true that the older you get you don’t sleep as much.

Naps are great.
Probably.. but your not old yet
Yes. 😅 but you also realize you don’t need as much.
Or could be a sign you need to change something in your life.
FWIW, melatonin gummies - ZzzQuil really fixed my night regime. Highly recommend.
Melatonin is powerful. It isn't recommended to take it regularly. It's a hormone that does quiet a lot more than make you sleepy.
😱😱what else does it do? My mom takes it on the daily
It has a regulatory effect on a bunch of systems in the body. I can't recall the specifics off the top of my head. But, I think the admonishment was that long term use could disregulate your body's production of it, kind of forming a dependancy.
Yeah, I think I would take it just like once a year, or twice. Say one ZzzQuil box daily 30 minutes before bed time for 1 month and that's it. That's basically what I did and it fixed my sleep since then.
 YES

 Dammit 🥲
someone somewhere should probably visualized average sleeping time by age.
my brain barely works on 4 hrs of sleep, it means I am not old yet, gotta sleep more LOL
That and... check your stress level and habits.
 No.
 Mostly just extra worries
 Anxiety or lack of melatonin
Do you workout at night? Exercise is better in the morning and afternoon because of the spike in cortisol. High cortisol at night means you will have a hard time falling asleep.

Most important would be setting your circadian rhythm by watching sunrise and sunset. Also try to lower blue light (phone/laptop) if you can. Or just turn on the red tint for those devices.
Do pushups (or any exercise I guess) until failure if you can't sleep, you might as well tire yourself out before trying to sleep again.
