@bf313442 As a code slinger you aren't tempted by OpenSCAD or another code-based CAD solution?
@6ee90ca1 OpenSCAD is more of an obscure programming environment.
@6ee90ca1 been there, done that, with code generation — but it’s still really hard to get basic parts right from just code. The “parametric” design of stuff turns out to just be more fiddly at a constants level and things don’t always scale right when you render them. https://github.com/mathias/dryingrackclip
@bf313442 I think that my parametric designs all had flaws up until this year, and now I think I "get" it when designing for parametric. (And I'm really bad at math!)
@bf313442 I've been using it for... maybe 12 years now? I really like it. I scaled up my skill quite a bit in the last year, and have my own set of libraries for the stuff I do all the time. But of course, YMMV.
