Hey parents, what’s one thing you do for your kids that you never thought you would do? I’ll start…E is currently enjoying a bath with snacks on one of those bamboo trays… lol. #asknostr parents edition
Can you be my Mom? I want a bath with snacks.
Haha right?! But as an adult I also like candles, and a good reality show or a podcast lol
I miss the days when my whole body fit comfortably in a standard bathtub. If it’s not an extra long tub it’s rather uncomfortable to try to soak because I’m so tall.
I hear ya. I am quite tall as well. That’s one of the things that sold me on our place. A deep soaker is a thing I love. Everything else is kinda falling apart cause we’re in an old building but at least I have my nightly baths lol.
Currently: spend 1+ hours daily speaking with him using finger puppets 😆
*writes on todo list* - get bamboo tray
Learned to play violin so I could help my daughter learn. I quit after "Go Tell Aunt Rhodie" but she went on to play in orchestras (I haven't picked up any instrument since!)
I never imagined I would be folded up in a toddler bed reading books to my son to help him fall asleep. They aren’t made for adults, and my wife laughs when I climb in there with my kiddo, but it’s a nice time to bond with my son and only slightly uncomfortable! 😂
Never thought I'd take a toddler outside in sub-zero temps to calm him because he absolutely loves fresh air and stargazing.
