So last night, on a whim, I seasoned a frozen thick cut steak, then put it in our dehydrator at 160° until morning (8hrs). It came out perfect: juicy within, lightly roasted outside. I’ll do this now often, it’s an instant breakfast requiring only 1 minute prep. Works with frozen burgers and such too, but they come out a bit drier.

A little surprised it would retain juices and not turn to jerky but love this idea. Will try. Breakfast steak can be time-consuming. (But always worth it.) I usually cut into smaller pieces to fry faster
