Can you see this? nostr:nevent1qqsve5fe9gmz0zk6ntvfyckt66jw37mghnyajzardl9sm4uztnwvaqgppamhxue69uhkummnw3ezumt0d5pzp89qh469qapddgsrr8qw84xx08y7q34fm3cw3m64c2g9ufq9ydqtqvzqqqqqqym4lrqu
Pretty sure Damus doesn't show community/group posts 🤔
That's sad. Most popular Nostr browser. Makes sense why communities are stale.
I reckon feeds sort of makes groups somewhat redundant, maybe? And I assume Damus will introduce feeds at some point (I'm guessing they don't currently have feeds, not sure) @jb55 ?
I don't know what feeds are. But Dan mostly wanted to know what posts don't get deleted. So it's another key difference between tags and communities
Feeds are a newish thing, maybe only coracle uses them atm. They work the same as bluesky feeds, basically different filters eg filtering to only show posts about Gardening would be a Gardening Feed:) I'm not sure about post deletions 🤔
All apps will end up as half assed browsers. Wasted effort.
i see it ok on nostur, so some clients do see it?
Mostly Damus has problems apparently
Damus and primal don't show groups. There's probably more. I believe they show the posts when they appear in a feed, as a normal post. But quoting a group post as in the example above don't show (?)
And primal is 2nd most popular app?
I believe so. I'm pretty sure group posts still show in both clients, so sort of not a huge deal maybe. Groups are barely used, there's barely enough users to have subreddit-style groups. Especially on nostr where there seems to be only one topic, mostly. Obviously not having this function cements this. Still think feeds encourage more diverse topics and have a tiny bit of hope for that lol
Fedi bridge for other topics, but fedi crowd won't use Nostr apps anyway. Just a different type of circlejerk unfortunately
Majority of the posts I see on eg the Movies feed inset up come from the bridge. But because the bridge is a bit janky there's a bit of a disconnect
What's wrong with it? Works fine for me. On many days my feed is mostly fedi
i can see it on gossip too 👌 but how do i know which are community notes and normal notes?
