Canadian Blood Services is desperate for donors, major advertising blitz. I went in today. The nurses told me they've never before seen the advertising not work, people still just aren't coming in.

They also told me I didn't need to wear my mask (I was the only one in the whole place, not even the interview nurse in the little room). There was an air purifier in the room, switched off. I said to her, well, Covid case numbers are back up, way up. She said, no they aren't, that's other stuff. 

 @78eac2e9 @1d25a4e3 I stopped donating when they demonstrated they didn’t care about my safety. Not a good sign for the safety of the blood supply.
