Yep. Some are shady and funny but a lot of stuff is true like surrounding yourself with positive influence and avoiding negative people.

it's also why i'm not gonna bother shouting user testing bugs and ideas at mass, i value my ideas and time highly enough for that

yes, think jordan peterson had a piece on this exact topic, which i tended to agree with people value things with price higher, and think that there's something wrong with the cheaper and even free product it's dumb, but it's how our psychology works
Yep. Especially if you want people to act on advice. If you give it for free they’re likely to disregard it. But if you charge where it’s an uncomfortable number; they’ll implement your advice in a hurry.
