Apple doesn’t let us. The script is technically against their ToS. They only let us zap profiles.
Why they allow other apps and not ours was never explained to us, i’ve even had calls with them. They just say absolutely no zap button on notes in any context. So they don’t even apply their rules evenly or are trying to punish us specifically.
Yea that doesn’t make sense that Primal has zaps in notes but others can’t. What made you a target? That’s crazy
Ours was very strange, it was an out-of-review decision at the height of our popularity and said our app would be removed in 14 days if it wasn’t removed. They scheduled a call with me to explain their decision only after jack @‘d tim apple. When I talked to miljan they said their only issue with apple was NWC, but my reviewer didn’t care about that at all, the only thing they had issue with was zap button on notes, but that doesn’t even violate any guideline as I read it because we’re not using it to sell digital content. Basically they can threaten to remove you for any reason, they don’t apply their guidelines evenly, and they hate threats to their revenue model.
Yes, they can make up any reason to ban you. Apple even forces any internet browser app on iOS to only use their allowed APIs. Even google chrome on iOS is restricted and a just like safari APIs with different UI. Apple is scared that other apps can be written inside browser apps, so they lose revenue, and they can’t control it. If browser can be allowed to use other APIs , then the apple App Store is done., all kinds of apps can be written inside a browser
First it affects their revenue, as apple does not not money. Second, this will fuel free speech, as tipping is the financial incentive to ignite social post, meaning flourish speech with paid money, this thing government can’t control. Nostr = uncensorable text ( not yet videos as large storage is still centralized), bitcoin zap = uncensorable money = uncontrollable financial incentive. I think the government was involved. This is why another phone with open source software and hardware is important for uncensorable free speech and uncensorable financial transaction ( bitcoin).
How about an android version of Damus? So we can zap.

Are you still on Primal or are you on DAMUS ? Primal has been fixed
I still use Primal cause I like the UI & integrated wallet. I just hope it doesnt freeze up again
Right I love using Primal myself. I was using #Amethyst for awhile until they finally fixed #Primal.
