 "Money has no value until you spend it" is something a mentor of mine likes to say.  Selling bitcoin in order to store your economic energy in another form doesn't make much sense, but spending Bitcoin to improve the lives of you and those you love is the point of Bitcoin in the first place.

The point is not to spend 0 economic energy in your life, to only work and save so that he who dies with the most sats wins is to miss the point of life in the first place.

If you can provide good shelter, education, healthcare, food, and a good culture in which the children you have or love can learn and grow, that's worth some bitcoin.  If you can care for those who can no longer care for themselves in your family, another good use of bitcoin.

Money has no value until you spend it. 

 Some people think they can buy fiat to buy back bitcoin cheaper later on. Most are bad at this game but continue to do it, they feel more in control.
Still if you plan a purchase in fiat in the next 6-18 months and especially in bullmarket, it might be wise to secure at least some of the amount to not be forced to sell at a bottom, maybe DCA out is a good way to manage that.
