I would argue that it's already the case that nostr is the gateway ^^ I can recommend friends nostr and they start using it. Then they get interested in what zaps are! The otherway around has had less of a success rate. Unless they already was btc-curious
I said this on my panel at btc Atlantis. This is why we need to make the non-bitcoiner nostr experience far far less bitcoiny, and not do things like recommend only bitcoiners to follow on a client install. Once they're in and guard is down BOOM, we zap them into submission with our superior payments tech
