Maby legacy social media that has economic driven algorythms need to learn, that they are no real medium of free speech, since the users get posts displayed, which are just triggering.

Whet the society needs is probably rather something like nostr where the users have total control of whom to follow and wht content is pushed to their timeline and which not.

I think there can still be hateful speech on nostr. At least it is not pushed to people that dislike it as on X. Or when you see it easily unsubscribe to these users and it will show up never again.
