Axios had reported that Trump could pick Haley if she could help him win the presidency and cover legal bills if he loses. Haley ended her challenge to Trump in March and has not endorsed him. Other potential candidates for the running mate position include Doug Burgum, Kristi Noem, Marco Rubio, Tim Scott, J.D. Vance, and Elise Stefanik. Trump is in no hurry to pick a running mate and will face Biden in the November election.
