I never claimed that two spirit is a third gender because it is a spiritual practice that occurred before the understanding of gender today. I just mean to say that there are parallels to be drawn.
Parallels like a gender is usually centered on men? Third genders include men who like weaving to women from families without boys who dress up as men to earn money. If you go way back to Ancient Greece, you find a lively Mediterranean trade in castrated boys sold as slaves.
