We’re building for an audience that is not technical in the slightest, wants to have fun zapping and connecting with friends authentically etc. We have info on profiles about nostr, but it’s not something everyone understands yet. We have a bunch in the pipeline and we’re building out diff education resources etc, but that takes time as well.
Remember, ZBD is not for everyone. If you’re a hardcore nostrich, this app is probably not for you and that’s ok. Every nostr client will be built for different use cases. We’re trying to help people earn bitcoin playing games and connecting on social. That is all 🤙

Lmk if you’re still confused. I’m here and my DMs are open.
ZBD is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Just another KYC’d walled garden but with windows giving users the illusion of openness.
Yep. When i was first told about nostr. I tried it. But euh. I posted my private key in the channel on discord ☺️

But at least trough zbd social im learning how it all works.
Its a bit easier to understand for me than nostr.

So far it works great.
Except that my profile doesnt show my followers. Hopefully there will not be a social challenge that includes the amount of followers 😉
ZBD Social *IS* Nostr. It's one of the many Nostr clients available to users.
I had no idea how ZBD worked. Lots of mixed feelings now😵‍💫
 What is unclear
I think it's clear now. However, I have mixed feelings about the decision not to inform users about NSEC keys and the absence of any mention of the Nostr protocol within the app. Additionally, all the tracking and KYC procedures seem unnecessary, unless the intention is to profit from users' data, similar to other legacy social media platforms. None of it seems to align with the core principles of Bitcoin and Nostr.
Nostr info is on the user’s profile, “SECRET PASSCODE = COMING SOON”

It’s ok if this isn’t the client for you. Nostr is great because of all of the wonderful options 🤙🫂

PS - “Core principles of bitcoin and nostr” - these are open protocols not religions.

What specifically makes it difficult to give users their nsec ? Arent we literally talking about users having the ability to see the nsec so they can put it in another client?
It seems to me that the idea is to create a relatively closed social network using the Nostr protocol and promising Zaps to the members as an incentive.

As soon as a sizable user base will be created, it can be monetized in one way or another.
 “Nostrich” - love it
