 @098a11ae @9703c978 It's not about Elon in my case, for unrelated reasons I usually have good information about Tesla and Spacex which are related to Elon. I have seen for several years an absurd amount of lies and manipulation regarding those two companies, hence I'm tired of it. But I can't stand awful or misleading, when not manipulative "journalism" in general.

 @fec39751 @9703c978 maybe look at what those companies have in common and you’ll find the root of the problem. He’s giving #TFG  a run for his money. Take a look at Xitter and see how he treats people. We are not used to this tone on Mastodon. It’s why we left #xitter . To relate to each other as people not trolls.

 @098a11ae @9703c978 I have edited the initial toot and changed "you" by "they" since I was referring to The Intercept. But I still think it's the appropiate tone to use with them. Yeah, too many people here dismiss anyone they don't agree with as trolls and proceed to block them, regardless of tone. You can't just make someone you don't like disappear from existence IRL, that's why echo chambers are rampant on here and still are on X

 @fec39751 @9703c978 I am not a big fan of the Intercept myself. That being said, not sure that it was intentional from them either. Not even sure Musk didn’t remove the blue check on purpose and than came back as he so often does when the blowback is too strong. I trust him as much as I trust tfg.
